15 letters Privacy Policy

15 letters inc. is a creative agency focused on delivering a wide range of interactive design and marketing solutions including web site development, online marketing initiatives, viral (pass-along) marketing, online game development, email marketing, online brand development and online promotions (collectively, "Promotions"). Such Promotions may gather personally identifiable information from those individuals who choose to participate in a particular Promotion and anonymous data regarding the site itself. 15 letters takes its privacy obligations both to its clients for whom the Promotions are created and to people who participate in the Promotions very seriously.

This policy outlines our treatment of the personally identifiable information we collect on behalf of our clients and for our own use. There are two ways in which 15 letters collects personally identifiable information: 1) Client Promotions; and 2) 15 letters website.

Client Promotions: As a full service creative agency, 15 letters operates online Promotions on behalf of its clients. As part of those services, 15 letters collects personally identifiable information for its clients by the use of 15 letters' proprietary technology online. 15 letters collects such personally identifiable information solely for the use of its clients and the operation of the Promotions. 15 letters does not use any of the data collected itself, other than to notify potential winners and for prize fulfillment purposes in connection with the Promotions. 15 letters does not consolidate data across Promotions, does not maintain data beyond the conclusion of client Promotions (other than for back-up purposes on its client's behalf), and does not "monetize" data collected on behalf of its clients in any manner whatsoever. 15 letters strictly limits access to all personally identifiable information within its organization and data is never shared outside of the company for any reason whatsoever (with, of course, the exception of appropriate governmental or legal requests and client obligations). Personally identifiable information collected from different client Promotions is never mingled nor shared with anyone other than the client on whose behalf the information was collected. Personally identifiable information collected by 15 letters on behalf of a client belongs solely to the client and will be used solely in accordance with that particular client's privacy policy. An individual's desire to "opt-out" of receiving marketing or other information from a client will be handled in accordance with a particular client's privacy policy. 15 letters requires its clients, by contract, to use the data which 15 letters collects on its behalf in accordance with generally accepted privacy standards, which includes an "opt-out" method for individuals who have provided personally identifiable information. Ultimately, however, 15 letters is not responsible for data collected on behalf of its clients when such data is in its client's possession. Where 15 letters operates one Promotion on behalf of multiple clients, the use of the personally identifiable information by all of the companies involved will be clearly outlined by a privacy policy created for that Promotion.

If a third party administers the contest, your participation may be subject to additional terms and conditions and that third party's privacy policy. We are not responsible for such third parties. You should carefully review these third parties' terms and conditions.

15 letters' Site: BY SUBMITTING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO US, AND/OR BY USING OUR SITE, YOU AGREE THAT WE MAY COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW. If you do submit personally identifiable information to us via www.15letters.com it will only be used as sales leads and 15 letters may contact the individual by email, mail or phone to discuss the entrant's interest retaining 15 letters. 15 letters will never sell such information, share it with another businesses or use it for any purpose other than marketing 15 letters' own, core business, as set forth above.

15 letters' site may contain links to other websites belonging to alliances, clients and other sites of interest. 15 letters does not control the privacy practices of these other sites. You should make sure that you know when you have left the 15 letters site and, if the site you visit collects personal information, and that you have read that site's privacy policy.

15 letters' Online Technology: 15 letters' proprietary technology has the ability to collect data other than personally identifiable information it operates online. 15 letters may collect information about your computer configuration, such as your browser type, operating system, or ISP domain name. 15 letters may collect information about the site you last visited or about your activity during your visit to the Promotion site. This information will not reveal your personal identity (it is anonymous), may be used by 15 letters to administer the technical and operational aspects of this site, and may include using your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server. Your IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

15 letters may use cookies and Macromedia Flash Player to assist in performing some or all of these activities and also to limit your ability to participate in Promotions more times than appropriate.
